The girls in our Young Women were in need of T-shirts for upcoming girls camp. They drew up a design and the I made the design in my vinyl cutting software.
Once it's all weeded you place the vinyl onto the shirt
Then place a piece of parchment paper on top
then iron away!
All done, super easy and fairly economical!
I have a Roland Stika 15 inch vinyl cutter and I used Endura Tex Iron on Vinyl.
Our old mailbox wasn't that old. Maybe 3 or 4 years old. But for some reason (could it be our crazy intense summer heat or regular high wind advisories?) it no longer stayed shut and the flag would not stay up. While wander Home Depot on Friday night with all 4 kids in tow we came across a stack of mailboxes and the price was right, $5.
I brought it home and dressed it up with some vinyl and installed it. It is a huge improvement over the old.

For my daughter's birthday party she wanted root beer floats instead of birthday cake. I decided it would be fun for each of her friends to have a personalized cup for their root beer float that they could take home with them to use again and again!
The vinyl can be put through dishwasher quite a few times without any noticeable wear and tear.
Here are some centerpieces I recently made for a church activity that was focused on Elder Utchdorf's talk Forget me Not.
Each of the short signs are cut from a 2x8 and are 12 inches tall. They're all double sided so that ladies could view the quote from both sides of the table. They are each embellished with ribbon and buttons. All 5 forget me not were spread through the room on the tables.
The long signs are cut from 2x6's and range from 36-40 inches long and are similarly embellished. Under "Forget Not" are all 5 of the Forget me not's.
All of the signs were were "white-washed" witha mixture of cream and brown craft paint mixed with water, painted on and then wiped off.
I found this bucket a few weeks ago at Walmart. I purchased it without having a purpose for it. I know I shouldn't do that, but I was drawn to it!!! It's rubber and very light weight.
I decided to get some fun yellow mums and liven up the entrance to my house. I started by throwing some used plastic bottles in the bottom. This meant less soil and it wouldn't be as heavy when it was filled (disregard the fact that those are all Dr Pepper, I know I have a problem!).
Next I threw some soil in and then the mums.
I finished it off with some vinyl!
I'm ready for fall, but not quite ready to put up my fall decor. This is just enough to brighten it up a bit!
